I am writing to thank you for the scholarship and attaching a picture of myself while attending the Riddle’s Annual International School for Elephant Management.

I am fortunate to have won the scholarship to attend the Riddle’s school for elephant management in the spring of 2002. What I learned in 2 weeks was really life changing. The commitment and expertise that Scott and Heidi Riddle possess was inspiring. The size of the facility and the number of elephants is truely awesome.

Riddles-school.jpgThe International Elephant Foundation provided me with an opportunity to advance in my education and experience of elephants. This knowledge benefits me, my co-workers, our elephants, and the entire zoo. The IEF has also rewarded my hunger for knowledge and expertise, my commitment and drive, and passion for what I do. By attending the school through the scholarship, I have more knowledge and experience and I have more hunger, drive, and passion. It is a cycle that will forever continue.
