GAJAH, which means elephant, is a journal dedicated to Asian elephant conservation. Gajah is a part of the history and identity of the AsESG and as such deals with a number of issues specific to Asian elephants including the large percentage of captive/domestic elephants in Asia and dealing with government and non-governmental organizations while providing opportunities for capacity-building by encouraging younger, less-experienced members to publish and participate in journal production.
